Robyn Spicer is an illustrator and graphic designer who loves creating unique images. Robyn’s background is in education. While teaching she wrote and illustrated a children’s book entitled ‘Oopsie the Witch’ that was published by Five Mile Press. Following her passion for illustration and design she undertook a career change. In 2007 she completed an honours degree in graphic design at la Trobe University in Bendigo, Victoria. She was awarded a mentorship with the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust in 2008. Robyn is now a busy, enthusiastic freelance illustrator and graphic designer.

“I love blending old and new techniques. The computer is a great tool but so is a simple pencil. I enjoy the challenge of finding the right technique to suit a project. Some projects are subtle and delicate while others require strength. I love pencils, painting, printmaking and photoshop. Working with a team is great – I enjoy the to and fro of problem solving. I’m very lucky to be able to combine my fine art skills with graphic design. This brings a unique consistency to a project and is great fun.”
